Holiday and Other Pay Incentives for Part-Time Employees

Income from part-time employment is all the income that some employees have, despite best efforts to secure stable employment. So, naturally, when there are company closures for holidays, etc. this sect of employees suffer the most...
There are generally about 10 observed holidays for which full-time employees are paid with time off, chump change for many employers that hire part-timers.

Paying part-time employees working in school districts and other relevant industries for additional breaks or company closure dates, where it can be afforded, would not only be fair, it would best demonstrate company appreciation and incentive for employee retention.
