It is redundant and a waste of time and resources for
employment applicants to complete manual employment applications once they’ve completed
online applications for the same position(s). Completion of supplemental information is acceptable, of
course, though, ideally, all information that would be solicited from an
employment prospect would be remittable online. Employers may even opt for employees to electronically sign their
employment applications and other relevant documents, or to print and disburse electronically
completed applications and other documents to applicants for review and manual
signatures during interviews or follow-up sessions. Technology enables
facilitation of employment application processes and alleviation of bureaucracies
synonymous with it. All employers
should come on board.
